Abstract:	In this paper the definition of the term "collecting tourism" was revealed. The positive impact of the development of information technologies on the field of tourism and the possibilities of applying geographic information systems in tourism were considered. It is suggested to use the mobile application "Seek by iNaturalist" during the organization of collecting tourism.
